Trade edge painting for printers
Add coloured edges to the cards you already print. Send us your printed business cards, A6 or A5 cards and we'll paint the edges in any of 100+ colours, fluorescents or metallics, then send them straight back, or on to your customer with no Mangoprint branding.
We paint edges for printers, studios and agencies across the UK from our workshop in Maidstone, Kent, on runs from 250 to 5,000+ cards.

How it works
Quotes come back the same working day. Payment is taken on order; regular trade customers can apply for a credit account.
- Get a quote. Tell us the quantity, size, stock thickness and edge colour.
- Send your cards. Post or courier your printed, trimmed cards to us, or have them sent direct from your print supplier.
- We paint the edges. Every stack is hand-finished and checked before packing.
- We send them back. Back to you, or blind-shipped to your customer in plain packaging with your PO on the note.
Colours
Choose from 100+ edge colours, including bright and pastel shades, fluorescents (yellow, orange, pink, green, blue), metallic gold and silver, and black for an all-black card. Send a Pantone or hex reference and we'll pick the closest match. For special projects we can source other colours on request.
Stocks and sizes
- Best results: 600gsm and thicker, including 700gsm and duplex or triplex boards
- Possible: 400–500gsm, with a thinner edge line (we don't recommend going thinner than 400gsm, but ask us)
- Sizes: business cards (85×55mm and 89×51mm), square cards, A6 and A5 cards, plus shaped and round-cornered cards on request
- Finishes: matt laminated, soft touch laminated and selected uncoated stocks
Trimming matters. Cards must be trimmed with a sharp guillotine blade. A blunt blade leaves a rough or crushed edge, and the paint shows every flaw. If your edges aren't clean, the finish won't be either.

Questions
What's the thinnest stock you can edge paint?
600gsm and above gives the boldest edge. We can paint down to 400gsm, but the colour line is thinner. We don't recommend going under 400gsm, but it can be done: talk to us first.
Which stocks and finishes work?
Matt laminated, soft touch laminated and selected uncoated stocks. Cards need to be trimmed with a sharp guillotine: blunt blades crush the edge and give a poor painted finish.
Can you match my brand colour?
Send a Pantone or hex reference and we'll choose the closest match from our 100+ colours, and keep it on file for repeat orders. If none is close enough, we can source a specific colour for special projects.
How long does it take?
In most cases 3–5 working days from receiving your cards, plus return delivery. Need them sooner? Call us on 01622 961023 to discuss urgent jobs.
Will my customer see your name?
No. We blind-ship in plain packaging with your PO or reference on the delivery note.

How do I pay?
